The free-entry, weekend-long event will feature food, drinks, music, entertainment and a chance to preview the latest Mercedes-Benz models

Returning to Hong Hong’s Central Harbourfront for its fourth edition on the weekend of October 13-15, Mercedes-Benz BAM Festival is back—and bigger than ever. Part car show, part food and drink festival, and part entertainment extravaganza, BAM is an all-encompassing celebration that has something for everyone.

This year’s festival focuses on the future, with an event programme featuring technology showcases, artificial intelligence, and green innovation and sustainability. There is also an opportunity to get an up-close preview of the full line-up of the latest Mercedes-Benz models—the all-new E-Class and the new Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV—alongside Concept EQG, a prototype all-electric version of the iconic G-Class, which will be appearing in Hong Kong for the very first time. There will also be an SUV Village, designed as a wild camping setting to showcase Mercedes-Benz SUVs in their natural, off-road habitat.

Not into cars? No problem. As well as the arsenal of automotive content, BAM Festival 2023 also features a feast of food and drink, wellness and lifestyle, arts, music and entertainment to keep even the most motoring-averse festival-goer happy.

Throughout the weekend, the main stage will host yoga and fitness classes in the daytime and, on the Saturday evening, live DJs and a headline concert starring popular local musicians Wilson Ng Lam Fung and his music band, Jeffrey Ngai and Panther Chan.

For the little ones, Kids’ Town, powered by AXA, is a one-of-a-kind playground designed to unleash children’s creativity. Featuring a Mini Mall where budding “kid-trepreneurs” will run their little businesses and sell their handcrafted goods, there’s a wide range of fun, educational and family-friendly activities on offer, including AR art jamming and Stem workshops.

And there’s no danger of going hungry or thirsty, as the Food and Drinks Garden will serve up refreshments that honour the German heritage of Mercedes-Benz throughout the weekend. A fully fledged Oktoberfest, complete with grass flooring to evoke the biergarten atmosphere, the area will offer a selection of beers and snacks, as well as authentic German musical performances. There’ll also be a variety of local and international cuisines, beverages and cocktails on offer to refuel and refresh beside the stunning Victoria Harbour.

Mercedes-Benz BAM Festival runs from October 13-15 at Central Harbourfront Event Space (entrance through Gate 3), 9 Lung Wo Road, Central, Hong Kong. Pre-register free of charge here.
