Ferretti Group hosted Privilege Day and Ferretti Yachts 1000 China Premiere Ceremony in May
On May 15, leading Italian luxury yacht builder Ferretti Group hosted a world-class gala event that stretched from Shenzhen Bay’s Marina Club to its Sea World Culture and Arts Center complex. The Privilege Day coincided with the China premiere unveiling of the Ferretti Yachts 1000 model and certainly lived up to its name, Joy Above the Sea.
Ferretti Group, the only Italian company listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the past decade, displayed six luxury motor yachts in Shenzhen Bay, all of which had been delivered to China in the past few years. Two yachts from Ferretti Group’s clean-lined, contemporary brand Riva were also on show, and the 110’ Dolcevita and 90’ Argo models caught the eye of many yacht owners and attending VIPs. Ferretti Yachts 920, 780 and 670 models were also exhibited, but the star of the show was the China debut of the shipyard’s signature brand’s new flagship model: the Ferretti Yachts 1000—with an overall length of 30.13 metres, it is the largest yacht the group has ever built.
In China and throughout Asia, Ferretti Yachts have become highly sought-after as the perfect entertaining yachts, owing to their cutting-edge cruising capabilities, comfortable, well-appointed interiors and generous outdoor deck areas that provide ample spaces to gather and entertain or to relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding marine vistas.
At the gala ceremony, synchronised drones rose into the air above the berthed yacht fleet, and spelt out the words “Ferretti Yachts 1000”.
Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi was in attendance. “This is a fantastic moment for Ferretti Group and its seven brands,” he said. “The Chinese market is experiencing rapid growth, and more and more owners are choosing the beauty, heritage and innovation of our magnificent boats. This spectacular event is an extraordinary debut for our flagship Ferretti Yachts 1000, consolidating the success of our inimitable range.”
