The multinational electronics brand pushes artistic boundaries by integrating art into daily life

LG is known worldwide for its innovation in technology and consumer electronics, so it was a natural fit for the brand to be the platinum sponsor at the Digital Art Fair—Asia Edition for the second year in a row.

The Digital Art Fair took place at the K11 Musea’s Kunsthalle from October 20-30. LG had its own LG Diversity of Art exhibition zone within the fair, showcasing ways in which people can integrate art into their everyday life through three new products.

“Through this collaboration, LG hopes to ignite the spark between art and technology, inspiring audiences and challenging traditional forms of artistic expression,” says Yuri Han, managing director at LG.

The electronics brand introduced the world’s first wireless OLED television at the fair, the Signature OLED M (Model 97M3). Featuring an ultra-thin screen that resembles the frame of a painting, and equipped with LG Zero Connect technology, the Model 97M3 can transmit video and audio within 10 metres and offers up to 4K resolution.

Also on display was the LG PuriCare AeroFurniture Bored Ape Edition. The LG PuriCare AeroFurniture is an air purifier that doubles as a chic table—a unique electrical appliance with a PuriCare 360° HEPA filter and the brand’s Uvano technology to ensure the fan blades are hygienic, all encased in an appliance with an aesthetically pleasing design.

The Bored Ape Edition takes it to the next level by offering four versions, each featuring a different Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) avatar, with just 100 units available. BAYC is a limited-edition collection that is popular among connoisseurs of NFT Art; with its combination of practicality and a nod to digital art, the LG PuriCare AeroFurniture Bored Ape Edition will be particularly appealing to art collectors.

The brand’s Micro LED television is a 136-inch option perfect for a home cinema, and LG unveiled the LG MAGNIT 136-inch Micro LED display, LSAD007 model at the art fair. The company collaborated with LED.ART, a media art content platform, on a selection of digital art that highlighted its stunning screen quality, colour and visual effects.

With consumer appliances that can integrate art into a home without sacrificing functionality, LG is pushing boundaries in how art is perceived and enjoyed in day-to-day life.
