As part of its long-standing association with golf, Rolex will be the official timekeeper for the Hong Kong Open taking place from November 9 to 12 at Hong Kong Golf Club

First held in 1959, the Hong Kong Open is one of the city’s most prestigious golfing events, whose past winners include legendary golfers such as Rory McIlroy, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Ian Poulter. The tournament, now in its 62nd edition, returns to Hong Kong from November 9 to 12, drawing the world’s top players to Hong Kong Golf Club’s Fanling course.

Swiss watch manufacturer Rolex continues to be the event partner, reinstating its long relationship with golf that spans more than 50 years. This relationship began in 1967 when Rolex partnered with the sport’s icons Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, better known as the Big Three in the golfing world. While these were world-class champions, the watchmaker also supports golf at all levels—from elite professionals to budding talent. The brand plays an active role in championing the sport—acting as timekeepers in men’s and women’s majors, partnering with major tours and organisations, and helping develop future stars.

The connection between golf and Rolex feels only natural, given their shared values of integrity, excellence and respect for tradition. As a pioneering watch brand, Rolex brings precision timekeeping to golf’s grandest stages.

Beyond timing tournaments, Rolex also nurtures emerging players through partnerships like the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). It also aids golf’s governing bodies in translating and distributing the rules of golf globally.

At the Hong Kong Open, Rolex’s precision timing will allow players to showcase their skills at one of Asia’s most eminent golf events. It will also add to Rolex’s rich legacy of partnering with golf at the highest level.
