Celebrate with your loved ones over a festive feast
Castellana invites you to celebrate the festive season with executive chef Romeo Morelli offering two menus for the occasion.
First, Castellana presents their six-course Christmas menu, priced at HK$1,580, available for lunch and dinner from December 24 to 26. Experience festive Piedmontese dishes such as Fassona beef tartare simply marinated with olive oil; light ricotta foam served with sea urchin, oysters and plankton; Piedmontese minestrone served with homemade ravioli full of seasonal vegetables; chef’s signature Piedmontese ragù made with Fassona beef, celery, carrot, Dolcetto d’Alba red wine and a choice of tagliolini or tagliatelle pasta—alternatively, pick the “Panzerotti” ravioli filled with DOP Castelmagno cheese and shavings of luscious Alba white truffle. A main of Piedmontese trout served Mediterranean style with tomatoes and Taggiasca olives marks a high point, before the meal ends with homemade tiramisù.
Next, indulge in their six-course New Year's Eve menu, priced at HK$1,380 and available on December 31 for both lunch and dinner. Savour the flavours of river prawn tartare served with foie gras, capers and Amalfi lemon; gently cooked artichoke and Bagna cauda sauce or ricotta foam topped with shavings of Alba white truffle. The meal continues with Piedmontese minestrone; Carnaroli risotto with porcini mushrooms, black garlic and apple gel; and a choice of mains between lake trout served with tomatoes and Taggiasca olives or chef's signature guinea fowl served in two ways. Once again, a decadent serve of tiramisù marks the end of the meal.
